GSA Lightning Policy: In the event of lightning, GSA operates on 20/30 rule. This means if a lightning strike occurs within 20 miles of the soccer fields, then fields are cleared for a minimum of 30 minutes. This is determined using our handheld lightning monitor.
Cold Weather: All activities at the GSA Fields will be cancelled if the air temperature is 35 degrees or lower OR the temperature with wind chill (the effective temperature) is 35 degrees or lower.
Hot Weather: All activities at the GSA Fields will be cancelled if the air temperature is 105 degrees or higher OR the temperature with heat index (the effective temperature) is 105 degrees or higher.

Coming to GSA from the South:
Take I-35 North.
Exit on Exit 260/Leander Road/2243.
Turn right at stoplight onto Leander Road.
Go through one stoplight and cross railroad tracks.
After crossing the railroad tracks, make first left onto Quail Valley.
Follow Quail Valley to 4-way stop.
Make left onto Maple Ave.
GSA Ray Thomas Fields will be on the right.
Coming to GSA from the North:
Take I-35 South.
Exit on Exit 260/Leander Road/2243 and make left at stoplight onto Leander Road.
Following remaining directions above.
