We are always looking for great referees to work games at GSA, both during regular season games and during tournaments. Come out to officiate on some of the best fields in Central Texas!

Grassroots First Time Referee Licensing Course
If 2 members of same family register, pay, and attend the 8/5 in-person training, GSA will reimburse one of the registration fees.

US Soccer system closed GSA Referee clinic - another licensing course is still open on Sunday until 12 noon Friday for registration.
STSR will allow any referee with a current certification to attend the 2-hour field training free of charge, but they must complete and return the attached form before 8/3/22. This will allow those referees that were certified during 2020-21 (when the in-person session was not available because of Covid) to participate in the field training at GSA on 8/5/22.

First Time Grassroots Referees completing registration through the Learning Center must complete the following requirements.
Once your profile is created you should be able eligible to take the online portion of the Referee classes (this will include all quizzes & SafeSport & Background requirements if you are 18 years of age. After the online portion is competed you can then sign up for the in-person clinic portion. The purpose of the in-person session is to provide an opportunity to reinforce concepts and a knowledge base covered in the online grassroots coursework via practical exercises. The focus must be on preparing the referee candidate to be ready for the first game. By clicking on Go to Course List this will show you all the upcoming classes/ Dates & Locations for the In-Person Field Session.
