GSA Recommendations

In light of possible exposure, we urge you to keep a close eye on your child over the next week for the possible onset of symptoms.  GSA recommends you Quarantine until a negative test result is produced or 10 days without symptoms.  Face coverings are not required, but KN-95s and N-95s offer an added layer of protection for those seeking it.

If you would like to have your child tested for COVID as a precaution, Williamson County continues to offer free testing in front of the library. There are also instant home tests available at Walgreens and HEB (two tests cost $24).  We ask that you consider the health and safety of all the players and coaches as you determine how to handle your child’s situation.  If in doubt, sit them out.

When a Player Test Positive

When a Player Test Positive, please be sure to take these next steps:

1. The Player that tested Positive notifies their Team Manager.

2. Team Manager emails our GSA Safety Coordinator, Tiffany Roussel. Please make sure to cc your coach.  Include date of exposure and team.

3. Team Manager alerts their team that a player (please do NOT name the player) has tested positive and to monitor their child for any symptoms.

TEAM MANAGERS:
If your player is on Recreation, please include your coach, our GSA Safety Coordinator, Tiffany Roussel and our GSA Administration in your email.

If your player is on Academy, please include your coach, our Academy DOC, Jon Gardner and GSA Safety Coordinator, Tiffany Roussel.
