The registration fee includes a uniform which consists of a jersey, pair of shorts and socks, a participation trophy and a team picture and individual picture. It also covers referee fees and insurance costs.
Payments must be made online, at walk up registration or received in the mail by August 9th. Your child will not be placed on a team if payment has not been made. The only registrations that will be accepted after these dates will be the ones needed to fill team rosters that still need players.
Online Registration Instructions
Online registration provides the opportunity to register online using credit card payments only.
When you register your player, follow the directions as to whether you are a NEW FALL 2008 PLAYER OR A RETURNING SPRING 2008 PLAYER. If you are a returning player, the user name and password you created during spring registration is still valid. If you do not remember your user name and password you can still access your account by entering the address you used for spring 2008 registration. The database is configured so you can register all of your children at one time. At least one parent must be listed in order to register your child. Make sure you fill in the information correctly and check your spelling as well as making sure your phone numbers, address, etc. are correct.
Your user id and password will be used to edit information on any of the children. Please be sure to do this so you can use the log-in button when you wish to update your information. (phone number, email, etc.)
Other Registration Information
Age Verification: A copy of your child's birth certificatie for age verification is required for all new registrations. You can mail the copy to: GSA Registrar, P.O. Box 562, Georgetown, Texas 78627, Fax it to 930-1282 or bring it to one of the walk up registration dates listed above.
Financial Aid: A limited number of scholarships are available for those who qualify. Scholarship application requests and registrations will only be taken at walk-up registration. For more information you may call 868-5913 or inquire at walk-up registration.
New Volunteer Background Check: If you are volunteering as a new coach, a new assistant coach or as a new team manager, you need to register and have a background check done in order to be able to coach or manage a team. You will be able to have your background check done through the Affinity database when you use the COACH REGISTRATION link within the affinity site. This process will allow you to receive a KidSafe badge which you are required to have on you at all times when you are interacting with the kids.
Returning coaches, assistant coaches, team managers, need to re-register every season as well. You cannot be assigned to a team if you are not in the database for the season. YOUR KIDSAFE BADGE IS VALID FOR 2 YEARS, please check the expiration date on the badge.
Volunteering Requirements: We are an all volunteer organization so parents are expected to help with concessions stand or field preparation. Teams will be assigned concession stand duty during the season. You may be asked to work in the concession stand or to come out and help prepare the fields before the season starts.
GSA Refund Policy: A refund of registration fees will be given as follows: A 100% refund will be given if requested in writing before the teams are formed. A 50% refund will be given if requested in writing before the first game of the season. After the first game of the season, no refunds will be given.
GSA Privacy Policy: Your registration information will be kept confidential by GSA. GSA will not sell or distribute any registration information to anyone other than to the Capital Area Youth Soccer Association (CAYSA). We are required by CAYSA to provide certain player registration information.
Is it safe to pay by credit card over the internet? Yes! All data you share with the online registration is encrypted to protect your personal information as well as your credit card information. As a further protective measure, your credit card information is not retained after your transaction is completed. In your browser, you should see a gold lock at the bottom right of your screen. This indicates that you are accessing a Web Site which is encrypting (protecting) your information.
